Can the 10 minutes AirDrop limit on iPad be removed?

Hi

I am using my old iPad Pro 12.9 1st Gen for reading PC magazines.

When I want to transfer files (pdf) to it via Airdrop I enable airdrop but I am limited to 10 minutes transfer limit, so transfering files interrupts because 10 minutes limit.

Is there a way to transfer files via Airdrop, not to be limited by this?

Ofc other option would be, to transfer files via lightning to USB cable.

Other file-transfer options that are not AirDrop:

Set up a file share on the Mac, and access that from the iPad.

Use iCloud Drive:

No, the AirDrop timer (for unknown people) cannot be extended.

Receiving AirDrop from Everyone is limited to 10 minutes - this being a feature intended to inhibit receipt of potentially unwanted/unsolicited files from unknown individuals. By example, it has been reported on many occasion that female Apple device users in public settings (e.g. public transport) have been targeted by persons nearby to receive unpleasant or salacious material.

This time limit is not configurable.

Adding the senders details to your Contacts List will allow files to received without time restriction when you select Contacts Only.
