I cannot rename my MacBook Air M4

I've been trying to rename my new MacBook but there doesn't seem to be a button to save changes and the new name isn't being saved. I've been following the instructions.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.4

There are two places that you may need to change the hostname of your Mac:

Change your computer’s name or local hostname on Mac - Apple Support

  1. System Settings > General > About > Name. Type over the existing entry and then hit the tab key or click elsewhere (there is no save button).
  2. System Settings > General > Sharing. Under "Local hostname" at the bottom of the dialog, click "Edit...". Edit the hostname to be the same name as set in the previous step, then click "OK".
  3. Reboot your Mac
