Launchpad won't launch after macOS Sequoia 15.3.2 update on my MacBook Air

Hello,

Ever since I updated Sequoia to 15.3.2 on my MacBook Air, my Launchpad won't launch when I click on it. When I right click and select "Show Launchpad", that doesn't do anything either. Does anyone know how to help with this problem? I can't get to the screen shot feature. Thanks.

Are you trying to use Launchpad in order to take screenshots?

You can take a screenshot by pressing Command-Shift-4 and dragging, or Command-Shift-3 if you want the whole screen; no need to use Launchpad for that.

(I might add that I had been using Macs for some three decades before Launchpad existed, and to this day never ever opened it unless when asking questions in this forum).

How exactly are you trying to activate Launchpad? In my mac I had to search for it (since it is not something I use), and it is fn-F4. Where is it in yours?

And where are you right clicking and see "show Launchpad"?

You can start Launchpad also from the Dock, or from the Applications folder (or even Terminal!)
