iOS 18.4 update disabled WiFi function on iPhone 10

After updating to iOS 18.4 the WiFi function on my iPhone 10 was disabled. Verizon said it is permanently turned off and I need a new phone. Not buying it! I turned the phone off for five minutes and turned it back on, but it did help. Went to the WLAN setting on the Control Board, but it took me back to the WiFi page, the WiFi turn on/off button was still grayed out. Suggestions? I’m at a loss at this point. Think as, Rick

Does your iPhone still have its original battery?

And what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...
