I recently helped my mom transfer from an android to an iPhone. She’s trying to delete contacts that she doesn’t want anymore but she keeps being asked to sign into the google accounts that she didn’t import nor can she sign into to. There’s no options to just remove the google account or turn off contact syncing without signing into so how do I remove them?

Unlike some Android devices, contacts are neither stored locally on an iPhone nor in the SIM. They are synced to an email account that you have Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo, or any Other

The issue is that she had her old android for many years, and there is currently 7 gmails listed for the contacts and only 1 she wants to keep. So the default is still Gmail, but it keeps pulling from the old ones and can’t be deleted without signing in for some reason. She also can’t delete contacts without getting a constant error message saying to sign in to all of the other google accounts.
See the pic below which is self-explanatory for a Yahoo Account as an example but the same is true for Google Account too.
