Can't set the time zone for StandBy on iPhone 15 Pro Max

When I put my iPhone (15 ProMax, latest iOS) on a charger, locked, in standby mode, the displayed clock and calendar show the time in Cupertino. Everywhere else on the phone, the time zone is set to EST (Atlanta), but I can't find any way to set the time zone for Standby mode. I'm sure it's simple, but it isn't obvious (to me).

It sounds as if you have one of the "City" clocks selected. Press and hold on the clock. Tap on "clock" in the list that shows up on the left. Change the clock widget to one without the word "city" in the title.

I explained to you above how to change the widget from the city clock to a regular clock that will have your system time set. But once again, in a slightly different way:

Customize Widgets:

    • Press and Hold: While in StandBy mode, press and hold the widget you want to customize.
    • Add/Remove: Tap the "+" icon to add a widget or the "-" icon to remove one.
    • Reorder: Drag the widgets to change their order in the stack.
    • Done: Tap "Done" to save your changes.
