How can I fix my MacBook Pro stuck with Question Mark on startup?

HI, I’ve a Macbook Pro Mid 2012 13 inch. Randomly my mac showed at startup the folder with a question mark for a few times, then the next day my mac was fine. Recently my mac cant get pass the question mark folder. I’ve tried everything from resetting the NVRAM to reinstalling the OS fresh. Any clues on how to fix my mac or is it bricked forever.

I’d guess that the internal storage is failing.

If so, the internal storage on that Mac is replaceable.

Try running Diagnostics: Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support

Diagnostics csn usually identify hard errors, but can miss transient or intermittent errors.

If it is the storage that’s failing: https://eshop.macsales.com/shop/ssd/owc/macbook-pro/2012

Note: There is a second 2012-era MacBook Pro 13” model, with a Retina display.
