How do I view Apple Pencil USB-C battery percentage on iPad after losing the Battery widget?

It seems there used to be a battery widget in Control Centre in iOS so an Apple Pencil battery percentage sync’d with an iPad would be visible. What happened to it and is there any way to get it again?

I’m currently on iOS 18.4 using iPad Mini 7 and Apple pencil usb-c.

You can view the Pencil battery in Settings ➜ Apple Pencil, or add the Battery Widget to the today screen or any Home Screen and battery levels for connected devices including the Apple Pencil will appear there.

Don't think there was a widget in control center for that though.
