Hi, I've just got the iPhone 16 pro, however it keeps opening my wallet when its on my charging dock in my Mercedes car, this never happened on my iPhone 12 when i put it on the charger, is there anyone that could help so this doesn't keep happening

Do you have Express Transit enabled?
I’m wondering if this is a Mercedes issue. NFC (Near Field Communication) is what triggers the Wallet to activate Apple Pay and prepare your default payment method. NFC is also used by the cars keyless entry system. The wireless charging dock does not use NFC, so there is not reason for the Wallet to be responding. But something in the car is triggering the NFC in your iPhone.

Hi no other 3rd party apps only my season tickets for the football on it, but it’s my debit card that keeps opening

Removed my cards and still keeps opening my wallet when on my charging dock in my car
Is the dock a Mercedes part or a third party item?
It’s the one that’s built into the car, so a Mercedes part
Yeah that’s just it, the NFC option on my car is switched off so don’t know why my phone keeps opening on it, might have to take it in and speak to them to see why it keeps doing it
