"Cell phone bars gone after 18.4 update several times a day: wuth each version of 18 updates I continue to have to reboot my phone several times a day when out of nowhere I have no bars yet everyone else in the house does so it’s not the carrier. I reported it several times ridiculous"

You may have a sales SIM or eSIM card, of a damaged antenna. So, given them a call, and start with seeing about getting a new SIM or eSIM card.
