New iPhone 16e Unable to See Any Airplay Devices

Very strange issue. Everything seems to be working great on the new 16e. It is on the same wireless network with all our Airplay devices. Open the menu for airplay and it's empty. Old 13 mini works fine, my iPhone 15 Pro has no issues. iPads, fine, Macs, fine. Restarted everything including the WAPs and airplay devices. All the other Mac devices see them and yet the new 16e seems completely blind to them. 16e updated when it arrived with no available updates.

Thoughts would be great because I'm at a loss. I'm not feeling like going back to the Android days of sniffing packets and comparing to the IEEE standards to figure out what's going wrong.

First of all, I'm NOT a bot, so that was rude. I'm a volunteer user like every other user on this forum. Second of all, you didn't tell us anything other than it was not working on your 16e. You didn't tell us anything you tried, so I had hoped maybe the Apple Support Article might have helped you.

iOS 18.4 didn't break AirPlay on any of our devices, so there shouldn't be a need for you to wait for an update from Apple. And the thread you linked to is a ONE page thread, with very few users complaining about AirPlay being broken. If iOS 18.4 had broken AirPlay, it would have for the masses and this being the most widely visited forum in the world for all things Apple, would be littered with people complaining. Yet, it's not.

I should have suggested however, that since you have a brand new iPhone, you contact Apple Support. That's what I would do. And if you're in the US, you can call them at 800-MY-APPLE

No, no it doesn’t. This describes how AirPlay should work. Not sure how this is relevant whatsoever.
