I’ve been using my iPhone 16 Pro for the past month without any issues. However, recently I’ve noticed a sudden and significant battery drain. The battery now drops from 100% to 20% in about 5 hours with normal usage — mostly apps like WhatsApp and Instagram.
Battery health still shows 100%, so I’m not sure what’s causing this. Has anyone else experienced something similar or found a fix?

Post a screenshot of what apps are consuming the data at Settings > Battery and scrolling down to see the app percentage over the last 24 hours. Meta app updates have been notorious for causing excessive battery drain even when the apps are not being used by using Background Processes. WhatsApp just had an update 5 days ago and Instagram had one 4 days ago which may explain the sudden change in battery performance with a bug introduced in either of those apps.
