Open Settings > General > Keyboards

If you aren't happy with Auto-Correction, you can turn it off.

You can also tap Text Replacement and add words there, which can help.

How can I fix my autocorrect without having to add every mistake to text replacement? I have brought this question to this forum before and no one had a solution. My iPhone has built a habit to "correct" common English words to incorrect spellings and I can’t reverse this. Example: I once needed to spell a friend's name, which is Je. For the past six months, my phone then has corrected every spelling of "he" to "Je". Same with me once spelling "already" as "alreafy" and now my iPhone will always replace the correct spelling with the incorrect spelling. So far the only way I can battle this is to manually go into settings/general/keyboard/text replacement and adding each and every misspelling that my phone thinks of. But this is not a solution in the slightest. Please let me know how I can fix my autocorrect, thank you.

why does autocorrect on ios 17.6.1 still correct even after i cancel out the suggestion When typing a word and it suggests another spelling, I click the "X" and normally (on old iOS) it wouldn't correct after you hit the space bar. However, on this iOS even after you cancel and hit the space bar it will still change the word to what you didn't want. What setting or option is this or can we get it changed back? Because this has got to be the most annoying thing apple has done to date.

Reset your personal dictionary cannot reset text replacement I want to reset my text replacement, and I tried to reset my personal dictionary according to this page Save keystrokes with text replacements on iPhone - Apple Support (IE), but it is not working. Anyone have the same problem?
