How can I sort JPEG and JPG photos by date in Photos app on iPhone?

i have taken pics with my iphone and camera - jpeg for phone and jpg for camera.

i would like to have all them arranged in date order not separated - so i then export the combined lot intp Apple TV - any ideas?

If the clocks are set the same, then all you need to do is sort them in order of date captured. You haven't said if you are looking in the Library or in an album, but it's similar.


For instance, in Library view,

you can use the Sort button to open a menu allowing to Sort by Date Captured.


If your camera's clock isn't set the same as the phone, then you may have to adjust the time to match. In the Info Window

you can choose "Adjust." Select all the pictures that need adjustment, and you get the date and time for the first one. Fix that, and all the others will change by the same amount.
