Can I Add Apple Cash Family To My 12-Year-Old Son's iPhone 13?

Hi,

I want to know how to activate Apple Cash Family. I have heard that it's basically Apple Pay for people under the age of 18, but their Apple Pay access is restricted. I'm not too sure what it restricts though,.

I recently talked with my local bank to see if they did bank accounts for people under 18, and they did; so I got him one (I am not specifying anything about his card for security reasons) and he would like to add it to his iPhone 13. I am already completely aware that the normal Apple Pay is not available to people under the age of 13.

If someone had an answer for me, that would be incredibly helpful.
