'To add songs and playlists to your library, you must use iCloud Music Library' error on Apple Music

I'm not able to add a song to a playlist when using Music app on my mac because each time I try to do it then I'm getting the error I described in the title. Moreover my playlists are not synced between my iPhone and my mac. I'm logged in using the same Apple Id on both devices and have a paid subscription to Apple Music through Apple One. I have "Sync Library" option turned on both on all of my devices.

I just restarted my mac and my playlist have been synced and showed up on my mac. But I'm still not able to add new songs to a playlist from a mac. I noticed that:

When I create a playlist on my iPhone then I'm able to add songs to this playlist both from mac and iPhone
When I create a playlist on my mac I'm not able to add songs to it, the error from post above is gone but nothing happens when I add songs to playlist. I'm able to add songs to playlists created from my iPhone though
