For any subscription made with an in-app purchase that is managed by Apple, they can be easily cancelled by following the steps here:

For subscriptions made with a developer directly, it would bypass Apple's ability to manage the subscription and you would need to cancel with the developer on the website where the free trial/subscription was started.
