Apple Pencil Pro stops writing on iPad Air M2 while still connected

I have Apple Pencil Pro with iPad Air M2. My pencil sometimes doesn't write, but it is still connected and hovers too. It happened for the first time about two weeks ago and stayed like that for about three days. Then it suddenly started working. And now after about a week it again doesn't write but hovers, the same issue as earlier. I tried removing and setting up the tip, reconnceting the pencil, restarting the iPad. None of them worked.
