if the device is continuously restarting/hanging ,check is the device is updated to latest software or not .
though the device is in latest software version then go for restoring the device as it solves if there are any software glitches and other issues.
Before restoring the device ensure you have an data back up .
After doing this also same issue persists then visit an Apple service provider for additional diagnostics.
