why are my messages being cut off on my lockscreen when replying

I am using an iPhone 16 Pro Max and when I receive a text message and try to reply from my lock screen, it cuts the bottom half of the text box off and puts it “behind” my keyboard. See picture below. I did reset the phone by tapping volume up, then volume down then holding the power button until it turned off. When it turned back on, I attempted to reply to a message and the box was in the normal spot until I began typing, then it went back to this. The bottom of the messages box should be visible above my keyboard.
