How to save Photos to Google Drive using Shortcuts app?

I have google drive enabled on files app, but cannot get Shortcuts to take a photo and save it to google drive. I can see the google drive folder but cannot save to it. I tried SAVE TO and MOVE TO. Doesn’t work. Is there limitations to saving to google drive from shortcuts?

Can't save videos from files to photos anymore I want to save a video from my Google Drive to my Photos App. In Google Drive you can download the video. It says "Saving to Photos". But once the snackbar menu pops up, there is no option to save it to the Photos App. This behavior was like that for since forever. But there was an update some time ago, with that you were able to save the video directly to the Photos App. But since this doesn't work anymore, I went back to the old way. First saving it to the files app. Open the video in the files app and save it to Photos App from there. But here the same problem. There is no option to save it to Photos. It looks like apple removed that in one the last 3 iOS updates. If so. Why? If not. What am I doing wrong?

Photo app not allowing me to change import location For some reason, the Photo app is not allowing me to use an external drive to import photos and videos. Attached is the screenshot; that function is greyed out. When I select Show in Finder and select the external drive and folder I want files to go to, nothing happens. The Use as System Photo Library remains greyed out. Am I missing a step, or is this not what is being implied? Thanks in advance for any help resolving the issue or understanding the function.

external drive Why can't I open photos on an external drive. I have opened other things like documents on that external drive.
