MacBook Pro M1 (2020) Turns On but Screen Stays Black

Hi everyone,

I’m using a MacBook Pro 13-inch (M1, 2020), and I’ve recently run into a problem. The MacBook powers on (I can hear the fan and keyboard light works), but the screen stays completely black. I’ve tried basic troubleshooting like holding the power button, resetting NVRAM/SMC (where possible), and even connecting to an external display—still no luck.

Should I try entering DFU mode, or is there something else I should attempt first? I’d really appreciate any suggestions or steps to help resolve this. Thank you!

Best,

Ganesh
