Why is my Apple Account inactive or locked after password reset?

Hello Apple Support,

I successfully reset my Apple ID password, and I have access to my email. But when I try to sign in on my iPhone, it says the account is inactive or locked. Please help me activate the account or explain why I can’t use it.
