Hi, I cannot find duplicates from my photos, which are connected to icloud, which is not full.
I have been waiting for hours, and the app is still "finding duplicates..." (I have 4000 photos which is a lot but not that much).
Do you know if that is normal?
Another question : Why are most of my photos duplicates? Is that because of icloud?

To find duplicates, Photos has to first scan every picture and record attributes that it can compare. That takes quite a while. It uses energy and computing time, so it will do the scanning more efficiently when it is plugged in, turned on, with Photos not in front, and generally not being used. So-- overnight with it on.
Duplicates has nothing to do with iCloud. Remember that a picture appearing in two places does not mean duplicate-- it's referring to the same file. If you like, you can have the same picture in 100 different albums, and it takes no more space, and they are not duplicates.
