Can I update my iPhone 7 to iPhone XS?

What, exactly, are you wanting to do?

You can not magically turn an iPhone 7 into an iPhone XS. You also can't buy an iPhone XS any more unless you happen to find one used. I can't recommend that as it's far too easy to get ripped off with an activation locked, stolen, or non-working device.

The XS was discontinued 5 1/2 years ago.
