i have logged into or used links to different apps and they show my location in other states rather than my physical location. Usually it’s Washington state or Idaho.

If you don’t have location services and Wi-Fi turned on it guesses your location based on the IP address, which will be tied to the carrier’s or ISP’s connection to the Internet.
Also, if you have VPN enabled that will show your location as somewhere other than your correct location; that’s actually a feature of VPN.
