Unable to add emoji's in my Mac Calendar events?

Don't know what I've done but, the Calendar program won't let me add a Emoji to the title of an event on my Mac. I'm able to add one on my iPad just not on my Mac..

Hey,

You can try opening the character viewer and clicking on an emoji whenever you type the name of a new event. To do this, go to the menu bar and select Edit > Emoji and symbols.

Let me know if this works for you.

Best regards,

Eliott.

Eliott,

Thanks for your reply. I try'd it the way you suggested but, it didn't work. Then I thought about "OnyX" and decided to try it. Clicking on the Maintenance button and having only the slider switches turned on as OnyX comes. Then click "Run Tasks". After running I opened up the Calendar and using the "fn" key to bring up the Character Viewer 1st, then double click the entry I wanted to edit and putting the insertion symbol where I wanted, I could insert the character I wanted. Don't understand why and didn't expect it to work but, it did. Here is a pic of the way the slider switches were set and Thanks again for your reply.
