How to take lower quality pictures using my iPhone 11?

I need to upload pictures to the Aaple discussion to help troubleshoot my Mac, your website keeps telling me the picture can’t exceed 5MB.

I don’t get it. 🤷‍♂️ I have a regular old iPhone 11 and it doesn’t really take high-quality pictures in the first place! 😂 Is there anyway I can lower the quality?

If you are uploading them from an iPhone or iPad, you can reduce the file size / quality, by selecting the "Actual Size" option when uploading the Photo, and selecting one of the other available sizes such as Large or Medium to reduce the size.

If your iPhone is running iOS 18, tap on the controls icon at the bottom right of the Photo Library view and select a different upload size before selecting the photo to upload.
