Why did my voicemail disappear on iPhone 16?

the voicemail i created on my iphone HAS always transefered from phone to phone until the iphone 16!!! what can i do?????? it was my granddaughter at 6 uears of age!!!!!! why ? where has it gone?????? it was created on my iphone 10 years ago!!! Not the carrier!!!

While your greeting may have been created on your phone, it is stored on the carrier's voicemail server. Check with them to see if that can be recovered.
