I cannot find volume swipe option in my AirPod pro 2 settings

I have searched every setting and cannot find “volume swipe” in my AirPod Pro 2 settings

As it Reads: To turn the volume up or down, place your thumb on the stem of either AirPod, and use your index finger to swipe up or down on the Touch control.

How do I find “volume swipe” in settings? When I open settings for my airpods there is no volume control option. I read that I have to go there to get to the swipe option. I have tried everything to find the volume control…

My iPhone 15 Pro Max is up to date & my AirPods firmware is up to date. I have reset my AirPods & reconnected them multiple times…still can not find volume control to get to volume swipe, its not listed in my AirPod settings.
