I am the owner of two iPhones. A thief stole my iPhone. How can I erase the data on the iPhone? When activating, it only asks for the iPhone's Apple account password, but it doesn't show the iPhone's screen password input because I think the thief knows the screen password. Thank you.

Note: The Apple article has a section on removing your phone from your Apple Account, but I believe that if you do that, you will clear Activation Lock – allowing the thieves to reset your phone and "make your phone their own."

If the thief knows the passcode, they may have already ransacked your data. (Much as if a thief has a key to the door of your house, they have a much easier time ransacking it in your absence.)
You may need to act to secure accounts, etc. on the working assumption that this data is already compromised.
