Received a text from Apple number about resetting password (DONT CLICK THEIR LINK)
I received a text from a saved Apple number (819-61 that I've gotten codes from as recent as 04/08/25):
“You can now reset your Apple ID password at
"apple. com/recover"
Be sure to do this before 05/01.”
(DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK - the link was not separated in the text message I received however I separated here for safety purposes)
I sent an email to Apple;
reportphishing@apple.com as someone in the community had suggested with details such as: number, time, date & screenshot.. all from my iCloud email.
The Apple email response was as follows:
