How can I unlock my lost and found iPhone?

Dear Apple Support,

My name is Regina, and I am writing to request assistance in unlocking an iPhone that I had previously reported as lost but have recently recovered.

Here are the details of the device:

  • Model : Iphone 16 pro max

  • Serial Number : D7W*****R5

  • Apple ID : mail@gmail.com

  • IMEI : 35 710**********

At the time the device was lost, I activated Lost Mode via iCloud for security reasons. Now that the device has been found, I am having trouble unlocking it.

I would appreciate your guidance or support to properly and securely unlock the device.

I am happy to provide any additional documentation or proof of ownership that may be required.

Thank you in advance for your assistance. I look forward to your response.

Sincerely,

Regina

This is a user to user only forum, NOT Apple Support. In the link I'm providing below are the following directions:

Turn off Lost Mode on an iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch

  1. Go to icloud.com/find, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
  2. Select the device below All Devices on the left.
  3. Click Lost Mode, click Stop Lost Mode, then click Stop Lost Mode again.
  4. You can also turn off Lost Mode by entering your passcode on the device. If you turned on Stolen Device Protection on your iPhone, you may need to use Face ID or Touch ID.

Note: If you had any cards suspended when you put your device in Lost Mode (credit or debit cards for Apple Pay, or student ID cards or Express Transit cards), when you turn off Lost Mode and sign back in to iCloud, you can use them again.
