iPhone 16 Pro is sluggish in Low Power Mode after updating to iOS 18.4.1

Following the update to version 18.4.1, the interface exhibits intermittent sluggishness during low power mode, resembling a drop in frame rate.

Disabling low power mode restores normal performance.

Restarting the iPhone 16 Pro also returns normal performance, albeit with occasional sluggishness.

I use low power mode for work and travel, so this experience is really frustrating to say the least.

Low power mode turns off or reduces the use of high performance CPU’s and GPU’s. This may result in dropped frames, lower image quality, jittery scrolling and reduced screen brightness, among other battery saving features.

Turn off low performance mode to restore normal performance. If daily battery life is a concern please consider using a MagSafe external battery pack.
