Does the iPhone 16 have the feature to adjust the beam for the torch.? I looked at some videos and the swiping on the bottom right or from left to right does not seem to work.

start flashlight and once the animation pops up, swipe side to side on it and it can control its focus.

Yes. To turn on the Flashlight, if it's set you can hold it as a Lock Screen widget or swipe down from the top-right corner to open the Control Center and hold it there. Once you are there, you can adjust the beam level by dragging it forward, backwards, and sideways.
