How can I find my lost AirPods Pro (2nd generation)?

Hi, I’m having an issue with my AirPods Pro 2. I lost the right earbud back in January, and since then, the location keeps updating to ‘0 km’, saying the position is updated now, but I can’t connect via ‘Find My’. The right earbud doesn’t connect, and I can’t get a signal, even though the location seems nearby. Can you help me?

"So even if the location on the app is updating, could it still be a false alarm? Anyway, the last time I remember using my AirPods wasn’t at home — I had put them in my pocket and gone back home, so I thought I’d lost them outside. But then the location started updating again, like it said ‘last seen 2h ago’ and then suddenly ‘now’. Do you think there’s a way to make them connect to Precision Finding? Or is it just a false signal? Thanks"

Correct. If these are showing up just now, then the device these are paired to is connected to the Internet. So, if you were to unpair these from your iPhone and any other device you have near you, then you would stop seeing an update on the location, as Find My would no longer be set up for your AirPods. I doubt you'd ever get these back, so if you feel just fine with doing so, go here to perform the unpair: Unpair, Restart, or Reset your AirPods - Apple Support

About AirPods and Find My:

If Find My was enabled with these, then note that the location shown is based off of the last time the device they were connected to that itself was connected to the internet. This is because AirPods are not assigned their own IP Address.

I don’t think the signal is an error because it behaves as if it’s real. When I move away, it shows a realistic distance. Even though the map shows its position directly related to the case and the remaining earbud, and even when the case moves slightly, the earbud follows the movement. The only issue is that it doesn’t connect in Precision Finding, find My works, but even though I’ve walked around the whole house, it doesn’t connect to Precision Finding . Thanks for the help
