Why can't I hear sound in games on my iPad, but I can in regular apps?

for example i’m playing life is strange,i am cat, and i am security but i cannot hear any

thing i think it’s because my ipad enters game mode.But when i watch tiktok, youtube, or instagram or watch netflix or disney plus, i can hear.
