AppleTV App won't play on LG TV

2 weeks ago the AppleTV+ app stopped working on my LG TV. I have updated the app, I have unplugged the tv and plugged it back in again. I have deleted the app and reinstalled.

It will get hung on the apple logo for about 10 minutes. If and when it loads the app, none of the shows/episodes will play, I just get a forever spinner.

AppleTV does work on my other devices (ipad, iphone, etc)

Check for system software updates for your smart TV. Install if available.
Also review (and apply if not done already) the troubleshooting tips from LG.
Else contact LG Support for assistance. Include your exact TV model number.
Else contact the Apple Support staff for their input on this matter.
