whilst using ipad it randomly makes glitch noise and blackouts then reboots

whenever i play games such as roblox my screen randomly turns black with one line glitching and moving only once to the side rapidly and it then blacks out showing the apple logo and my ipad shuts down.

however when i used snapchat on spotlight it did not glitch at all and lasted for almost half an hour. the ipad shut down after i left the app. i have no clue what is going one. i was told that it might be battery problems but im very unsure about this.

my local apple store is like 24 miles away from me which i would not want to go just to get my ipad checked so i just wanted to post this to see if anyone has the same issue and could clarify what is making my ipad do this. this happens on my ipad 7th generation.

also just to note my ipad after it shuts down and opens first shows the battery as 3% (lower than how it was before) then after i get wifi it goes back to its normal battery which was 9%. i dont know if this is supposed to be normal.

The symptoms that you describe might suggest that your iPad's battery may be reaching the end of its useable life - and may not be able to provide sufficient power for your iPad's peak power needs.

Are you able to use the iPad while remaining connected to your Power Adapter? If yes, while monitoring the indicated battery state, disconnect the Power Adapter; if the indicated battery state suddenly falls, or the iPad shuts-off or restarts, this test demonstrates the iPad battery having reached the end of its usable life:

If you continue to experience difficulties, you might be best advised to seek assistance directly from Apple Support - and request a remote diagnostic test. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page. Alternatively and perhaps easier, you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
