"Why is my new MacBook Air M4 charge slow or won't charge suddenly? My new 16" M4 Macbook Air is charging exyremely slowly or not at all - all of a sudden. I've tried everything I know to do. I just bought it last month. I do NOT want to buy a new charger or cable to test it. Do I have to take it to a store? Any other ideas? I just now changed outlets, have brightness turned low, and it's staying at 4-5 %. Doing anything else makes it go lower.This is very upsetting!"

Who's the seller? If not Apple, then take it up wit the seller. If purchased off of a website such as Amazon or eBay, report this, seeing if the seller can be held to account.

A. Reset the SMC and your NVRAM:
(Applies to Intel-Based Macs Only): Sometimes when changes are made to the system(i.e. Updates), system configurations (i.e. for Power) become manipulated, technically. So, reset the SMC and NVRAM. Try performing each thrice. It may take sometime, being certain you have the time to perform these resets.
