Why is Live Activities setting not showing in iPhone search and how to disable it for all apps?

iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 18.4.1 Phone been running very hot and battery draining before my eyes when using YouTube. Did a bunch of troubleshooting then found a setting turned on for Live activities which I didn’t authorize. Brief google search indicated it’s from a company called Airship and definitely wasn’t something I wanted. I tried to search for a way to turn it off for all apps but was oddly not showing in search. You have to go to each app individually and see if turned on? Whats going on with this?

Hello!

Yes, the setting ought to be located within the App settings. Go to: Settings > Apps. Now find the app, then turn off the “Live Activities” toggle.

Well just turn it off for the one app that’s using a lot of battery. What does it matter if the other apps have it enabled? Also not all apps have the switch in there. Not all apps support Live Activities.
