Why can't I add an eSIM on my single-tray iPhone 14 Plus?

What is the model number in Settings>General>About?

Dual SIM devices sold in China have a 'single tray' that can accommodate one SIM on each side of the tray.

All iPhones with a physical SIM option have a single SIM tray.

In some models, two physical SIMs fit into a single tray, one stacked above the other (up and down).

Special Chinese model = Single tray but holds two physical SIM cards (real physical Dual SIM).
