We can't tell you why. You have an iPhone released in 2016, 9 years ago. Your battery may have failed. You may have a hardware issue. But we are just users like you on this user to user only forum.
Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar, but if there is a hardware issue, it would not be a worthwhile expense to spend any money on a 9 year old device. You'd be better off using the money to help buy a new, modern iPhone.
