How do I fix iOS Mail not working with Gmail accounts on iPhone 13 Pro Max running iOS 18.4.1?

Hello. My Gmail account on my iPhone 13ProMax just stopped working. Email are stuck in the Outbox folder. I tried deleting and reinstalling the account but the issue still holds. Did an update to iOS 18.4.1 last week.

<Error message says:

The connection to the outgoing server "smtp.gmail.com" failed.

Additional outgoing mail servers can be configured for Mail accounts in Settings Apps Mail Accounts

Operation timed out.
