iTunes "Download All Free Updates" Button Predicament
OKAY. Today, I decided to transfer my applications (for the iPhone/iPod Touch) I had on my HP Desktop to my new MacBook Pro. I transferred them through the use of a flash drive from the HP to the MBP. I imported them into iTunes and my MBP showed "Apps ___86(in a bubble, indicating there are 86 updates available for the applications I have on my MBP)" so I clicked on it and at the bottom of the iTunes window there was a button that said "86 updates available" and I clicked that. It opens the iTunes store to the applications update page. In the top right corner of the iTunes store window it has another button labeled as "Download All Free Updates", I clicked this button and it asked if it was okay to download apps that had the age restriction of 17 and over, I clicked on the "Yes" button. A dialog popped up and read "One of the items you tried to purchase is no longer available", I clicked "Ok". Another dialog popped up and says "Update All?", I also click "Ok". Now nothing happens after that, as I suppose it should start a download and appear as a tab in the left hand menu pane, but alas nothing.
The problem was that I had an application no longer available in the Canadian store (my account) but only available in the US store. I deleted that application from my application list and iTunes let me use the "Update All' button properly.
