Suspicious email from Apple: "Your Apple Account Request"

• Do you have two factor authentication turned on?
• If so, did you also get a verification code sent to your Trusted Device or Trusted Phone Number?

At first glance, it would appear someone attempted to request Account Recovery on your account, whether that was done inadvertently by entering their wrong email address or intentionally by someone trying to gain access to your account. If using two-factor authentication you would also have received a message with a verification code, along with an email if someone was trying to access your account on an unknown device.

You can also change your Apple Account email to a new one if you think that is being targeted.

Since that email is not associated with any Apple Account, none of that may be necessary if the person provided the wrong email address when they have attempted to recover their own account. In any case, it never hurts to contact Apple for clarification.
