Chrome Print to PDF fails saving to a One Drive folder

I have a user on a macbook pro 2019, os 15.4.1

they are trying to 'print to pdf' or save as pdf to their one drive folders from chrome, but it fails and throws an error

It is strange because they used to be able to do this normally as part of their work flow in a web based CRM just taking documents and saving copies as PDF to their one drive sharepoint folders

They are reporting it stopped working for them within the last month now after a mac update. All of their co workers on similar systems and OS are working fine for this process

We tried uninstall and reinstalling both one drive and chrome, updated macos, but the issue persists. we tried some 'printer driver' or 'pdf printer' updates from the web, but still no luck.

I also tried to set both chrome and one drive full disk access permissions

running out of ideas, I wanted to try and ask here to see if anyone else has run into this problem at all
