Can I use AirTag attached to my dog’s collar to track?

Things to consider:

• Dog's may eat the AirTag if it falls off
• Tracking is only possible when there is another iPhone within bluetooth range, so that limits the ability in finding a lost dog if they venture into a secluded area.

You can, though Apple suggests you don't. The AirTag is not water proof and can be broken.
