Keeping Others from Heating your AirPods:
"Not disturbing others" is not a feature of AirPods. Adjust the settings to a lower volume and your AirPods. How you adjust to volume can pertain to an app itself. So, you might have to change it, when you visit another app. Elsewise, use a different device. My JBL headphones work perfectly for this; no one hears them, per their feedback.
