All you can do is try:

Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support

In most cases the answer will be no as all sales in the App Store are final, but at times Apple may provide a compassionate refund. It should not be expected though. Cancelling a subscription only prevents it from renewing and you continue to have access to the subscription until the end date for which you have already paid for.

Some apps will offer a free trial to determine if you would like the service before starting a subscription. You cannot make every subscription a free trial by trying it out and then getting a refund later. If you want to try out subscriptions first, then only choose one with a free trial. Any free trial or subscription renewal must be cancelled at least 24 hours before that date to avoid charges. You cannot expect forgetting to cancel a free trial to be a valid reason for getting a refund on the subscription that you had already agreed to.
